Are you a passionate individual aged 18-25, in Brunei Darussalam with a creative and innovative project idea to tackle the issue of poverty? We invite you to Youth Against Poverty Workshop to be held from August 19th – 21st 2016 at Dewan Silaturrahim, Pusat Belia, Bandar Seri Begawan.
In line with His Majesty’s Governments effort in eradicating poverty, this three day workshop intends to not only increase the public awareness on the issue but also to stimulate interest & knowledge on the issue of poverty in Brunei Darussalam. With the theme, Educate. Empower. Execute. this project will serve as a platform for the participants to learn the necessary skills to empower the underprivileged in their pursuit for a sustainable means of living.
Upon completion, the participants will be given a chance to pitch their project proposals based on the ideas they came up with during the Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The group with the most creative and innovative idea will be awarded a grant of up to $500 to execute their project with the aid and guidance from SCOT Executives and support from local authorities and established institutions in Brunei.

7:45AM – 12PM (Day 3)
Venue: Dewan Silaturrahim, Pusat Belia, Bandar Seri Begawan
Participants will be charged a BND25 registration fee and certificates will be given to all participants that have successfully completed the workshop.
