The SCOT Education Project (SCOT) is an 11-week programme involving volunteers facilitating English proficiency classes for students at the Youth Development Centre (YDC). This
is followed by a two-week visit to Cambodia where YDC volunteers teach English.
Four YDC students who have shown improvement in their English language proficiency during the programme are also given the opportunity to teach English at the village of Samrong Tong in Cambodia.
The project is in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, together with the Organisation for Building Community Resources (OBCR) Cambodia and in partnership with CfBT Education Services (B) Sdn Bhd Brunei and the British High Commission.
