Our third project of its kind, Green Xchange 3, was held on July 1st 2012 which saw villagers from Kg Setia ‘A’ & ‘B’ bringing their trash to be exchanged with 1.5 kilogrammes of rice for every dollar worth or recyclables collected.
This season saw more volunteer participation from UBD, ITB, JIS, MSPSBS, MD and Brunei Polytechnic which came together to lend a helping hand for SCOT’s flagship project.
The day ended totaling to 4 tonnes of recyclables collected. SCOT would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for Telbru as the main sponsor for GX3, as well as Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Asia Inc Forum & Avelife Foundation for their support.
We would also like to thank the vibrant group of volunteers who came to support our projects and we hope you had a good experience with us. This is just the beginning of our long sustainable journey, and do keep supporting us for our upcoming events!
