CONGRATULATIONS to the Society for Community Outreach and Training (SCOT) on their official recognition as an official non-governmental organisation in Brunei.
It has come a long way since its establishment in 2011, and I have followed with interest its activities in The Brunei Times.
Hopefully, with the recognition more members of the public will join SCOT and take part in its activities including its annual Green Xchange project, and the new SCOT Education programme.
Down the road, may I suggest that SCOT work closely with schools to create more awareness on poverty in the Sultanate and other projects.
