REGISTRATION, PAYMENT & RACE KIT COLLECTION T&C
1. All categories are open to all Bruneians and Foreign Residence ONLY.
2. Participants must produce the confirmation of registration sent to participants when making payment.
3. Organisers will NOT accept any registration or payments AFTER the registration and payment is closed.
4. All Participants are required to produce the receipt, donation card and IC when collecting the t-shirt and bib during race kit collection.
5. If donation card or money is lost, it must be reported to the police and a copy of the police report must be provided to SCOT Run 2015 during the race kit collection.
6. For any participants claiming their Race Kit on behalf, the person collecting must produce the participants’ IC (original or photocopy), receipt and donation card for verification. Organisers will have the authority to ask the details of the person collecting i.e name, phone number and IC for further verification.
7. The decision of the organising committee is final in accepting entries. No refund will be made for wrongful or multiple payments. Incomplete entry forms will not be accepted.
8. Participants are NOT ALLOWED to change shirt sizes once payment is made and any wrong remarks of shirt size of participants will not be tolerate during race kit collection.
9. Participants that FAILS to claim their race kit during the stated Race Kit Collection days and times, no refunds will be issued and it will be considered as a withdrawal. All withdrawals and cancellations will proceed to charity. Participants will no longer be able to claim their race kit after the race kit collection dates.
10. Organisers will reserve the rights to change or extend payments and race kit collection dates as they deem fit.
11. The organisers have the right to modify or substitute any of these rules and regulations of the event from time to time as they deem fit.
EVENT DAY T&C
1. All top 3 winners (of 10KM Male, 10KM Female, 5KM Male & 5KM Female) will receive cash prize.
2. All runners who complete the run within the qualifying time will receive finishing medals and certificates.
3. Winners must be present for the prize presentation at the end of the SCOT Run 2015, fail to be present the prize will be automatically forfeited.
4. Selected winners of Lucky Draw that are called must be present during the lucky draw activity, fail to be present the prize will be automatically forfeited.
5. If there is ambiguity in any of the provisions, the Organiser shall be the authority to interpret and in so doing, the Organiser will take into account of the interests of all the affected participants.
6. If the event has to be cancelled, for the reason of force majeure, i.e due to occurrence of incidents that is beyond the control of the organiser and which renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the event, there shall be no refund of fees paid unless the organisers deems fit to give a refund and the organiser shall not be liable for any other loss of inconvenience caused. The organiser shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused due to such changes.
7. Nobody has right to abuse any photographs, motion picture, recording, or any other record of this race and of participants for any purpose including commercial advertising unless approved by the organisers.
8. No drugs, illegal substances, performance enhancing substances or intoxicants of any kind are permitted to be brought to the venue or used by any participants either before or during the event. The organisers reserve the rights to refuse any participation in any persons that found or have in their possession.
9. By completing and submitting the registration, the participant confirms that, to the best of their knowledge, they are healthy and fit to run they understand the extent of risks involved except where any such personal and bodily injury is caused by the negligence of the organisers or committees).
10. The organisers have the right to modify or substitute any of these rules and regulations of the event from time to time as they deem fit.
