About SCOT

Established in May 2011, Society for Community Outreach & Training (SCOT) is a registered Non-Government Organization (NGO) under the Registrar of Society (ROS) Brunei Darussalam with its mission of being a catalyst for sustainable poverty alleviation in Brunei Darussalam.  As a follow up from our research study entitled ‘An Exploratory Study of Poverty in Brunei Darussalam’, SCOT acts as a bridge on coming up with more sustaining ways and strategies to help the underprivileged by providing them with assistance in the form of resources, basic skills and support to help them move out of the vicious cycle of poverty through our ongoing sustainable projects.

Mission Statement
