The aim of this event was to make policy recommendations for the consideration of the ASEAN Plus Three (APT) Leaders during the ASEAN Plus Three Summit to be held in Phnom Penh on 20 November 2012. The recommendations made were broadly categorized into the three ASEAN pillars and preceded by an observation of the Future of APT Cooperation as well as the Role of Youths within this mechanism. The Youth Leaders acknowledge that young people play an influential role in the cooperation among APT Member States and will contribute to the integration of APT. Leadership by the youth also leads to future-oriented innovations to advance the APT community.
