SCOT took part in the FBEPS Mini Business Week that was organised by the Faculty of Business, Economics and Policy Studies Student Council (FSC) from the 9th until 11th October 2012 between 9am to 4pm. This three day event was held at the Foyer Area, Central Lecture Theatre, University Brunei Darussalam (UBD).
This event was held to strengthen FBEPS undergraduate’s skills such as creativity, marketing, taking and properly manage risks by selling their products at their own booth that will be provided by FSC. Thus, their aim is to promote and stimulate the research culture among the students within the faculty.
SCOT’s El Morad Café which was so successful that they won the title of best booth for being the most organized and well presented booth.
With only 4 items for sale which comprises of two different beverages called Coco Morad and Oreo Morad as well as Apple Peanut Butter Sandwich and Red Velvet Cake, El Morad made a tremendous profit overall on top of a superb customer service to their customers.
From then on, SCOT will participate in future Entrepreneurship Activities that will be held in UBD.
