FIVE volunteers from the Society for Community Outreach and Training (SCOT) recently left for Cambodia for their social corporate outreach to teach English to young children in remote villages in Cambodia as well as provide water wells to give villagers convenient access to clean water.
Through recent fundraising initiatives carried out by SCOT prior to their departure, the organisation managed to raise $24,270.12 which will be used to establish 68 wells for the underprivileged community in Cambodia.
SCOT expressed their deepest gratitude to the donors for their support in helping the people of Cambodia for a good cause.
